French Empire Ebonized Portico Clock. 4 in. silvered dial has black Roman hour numerals, open moon hands and fancy gilt bronze bezel; round brass 8 day spring driven time only movement with long cast bronze gridiron pendulum has a leafy decorated bob. In an ebonized wood case with 4 long columns having gilt bronze capitols, pierced filigree mounts and turned wood feet. Case surface has some cracking and losses to the finish, movement is not running, very dirty, broken suspension spring, crutch & bell mount. 17.5 in. high x 9.5 in. wide x 5.25 in. deep.

In an ebonized wooden case with inlaid, has 4 long twisted columns having gilt bronze capitols, feet and pierced filigree mounts. Has chips and cracking to the case, some inlay is missing. French Bonze & Onyx Portico Clock. 4 in. gilt metal dial with damascened center and black painted Roman hour numerals, open moon hands with bronze rose and filigree relief decorated bezel; round French brass spring driven movement signed ÂLÂMarti & CieÂ, half hour strike on a steel bell and large gridiron pendulum with filigree decorated bob. Onyx & bronze 4 column case with shell decorated overhanging cornice top, floral rosettes on the frieze, bronze capitols and figural winged maidens on either side of a torchiere mounted on the front of the base. In very good condition with no breaks, losses or damages to the case. 22.75 in. high x 11.25 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.
