A late 19th century New Haven "Register" model double dial shelf clock. 8-day Brass time only movement with papered metal dial and Roman numerals, lower paper calendar dial. Walnut case with molded crown and single glass door with two glass panels on a molded base. Refinished with minor wear, replaced upper dial, discoloration on lower dial, replaced door glass, running momentarily when cataloged. 27 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE $300-500

The “Register” in the book has a rounded bottom finial – this one has a leaf bottom finial.

New Haven Jerome & Co. Calendar Regulator. 12 in. Jerome & Co. paper dial with silvered bezel, has black Roman hour numerals and fancy sub ring with days of the week and pierced hands; brass 8 day spring driven movement has an hour strike on a coiled gong and signed with the New Haven Trade Mark. The lower calendar mechanism has a Jerome & Co. 12 in. paper dial with brass bezel, 31 date outer ring with Arabic numbers and fancy inner ring with months of the year; the Jerome & Co. perpetual calendar mechanism is mounted to the back of the dial. In a cherry wall hanging case with carved crest, turned finial and lower section with turned finials and rosettes. In good condition and original finish. 57 in. high x 17 in. wide x 7 in. deep.

“The Day Time Register” Clock: 2 dial time clock with upper clock fusee movement and the lower dial showing the day. Cast Iron front plate from Howard Bros. Liverpool, London. In a nice oak case with oak and glass doors on each side and a bell strike movement; has pendulum and key.
Not tested.
34″ T x 19″ W with a 26″ iron front plate.
