L.F. & W.W. Carter and B.B Lewis Double Dial Calendar Clock. 12 in. paper time dial has black Roman hour numerals with days of the week inside, open moon hands and pierced spade day indicator. Has a brass weight driven time only movement with iron side weights and brass pendulum bob on a wood stick. Original B.B. Lewis lower perpetual calendar with 31 date chapter ring and month indicator inside; signed with LF. & W.W. Carter label in the back of the case. Rosewood case similar to the Welch Round Head No. 4, has a round door bezel, rectangular drop section and lower door bezel with sealed calendar mechanism behind the dial. In good condition and original finish with no veneer losses, clock is running and calendar mechanism is good. 32 in. high x 16 in. wide x 5 in. deep.

Lewis patented perpetual calendar mechanism in good working condition; 8 day pierced brass double spring driven time only movement with retaining power and patent lever escapement with balance wheel, movement signed L. Hubbell. In a figure eight style rosewood case with carved filigree crests and side pieces, in good condition and original finish. 28 in. high x 12.5 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
