Heavy monumental 2' solid Dore bronze clock marked Raingo Freres, Paris. Working, in wonderful patina. Everything is heavy and well casted. Marked Charpentier De Bronze Paris. 7" wide, 23" tall, 6" deep.
Monumental 19thC French Brocot Clock Garniture SET

Impressive French antique 19th Century mantel clock accompanied with garniture candelabras. Cast gilt and patinated bronze Louis XV style garniture comprised of a mantel clock and pair of conforming candelabras. Fine ormolu, foliate floral motif with putti in assorted posses. Later electrified candelabras, supported by floral and branches, with putti figures at base. Clock features putti, musical instruments and ormolu ornaments at the top and feet, with white enamel dial. Candelabras measure approximately 35" x 16" x 18" each. Clock measures approximately 20" x 30" x 10". Includes clock key. The works signed "Brocot Aine, Paris" (marked on both face and movement); Louis Achille Brocot (French, 1817-1878). Includes original key.

Monumental French Bronze Clock: The fancy 5″ dial has a individual porcelain numerals and beveled glass front. The time and strike movement is marked Ringuet. A. Paris and stamped Douillon A. St. Nicolas Honor. The case has kissing youths on the top with floral garlands down the sides. On the lower sides are dolphin serpents with youths on their backs, in the center are 2 nude females holding eel like fish and another youth. Bottom center is a lion mask and floral garland. Douillon worked in the early 19th century.
(The pendulum may not be original to the clock and one scroll near the center is cracked.)
