Marble & Porcelain Mantle Clock. 4.5 in. porcelain chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals, black spade hands and exposed Brocot escapement, has a fancy brass bezel and beveled door glass; typical round brass movement striking on a coiled gong. The black marble case has blue porcelain panels on the front decorated with scrolling leaves and a repousse brass plaque with playful putti, stands on brass feet and has brass finials on the top. 16 in. high x 10 in. wide x 6 in. deep

French Figural Marble & Bronze Mantle Clock. Gilt bronze seated figure of a philosopher with a pen and a basket of paper scrolls, black marble clock tower with arched top, black marble base with green marble inset panels on the front and sides with gilt bronze mounts and trim. 4 in. porcelain dial with open moon hands; round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂJapy Freres & ÂRollin a ParisÂ, has a half hour strike on a bell. Black marble has a few breaks and repairs, front feet are broken off but we do have them, no hairlines in the dial. 17 in. high x 21.5 in. wide x 7.5 in. deep.

Black marble base with a black marble clock tower and green marble pilasters on the front, bronze trim, roof and wreath crest with hanging scroll, the wood & plaster base is brass covered on the front with lions paw and filigree feet; seated to the right and leaning against the clock tower is a bronze figure of a philosopher with a book rested under his elbow and a basket of scrolls to the far left. 4 in. porcelain time dial signed ÂSarazinÂ, has black Roman hour numerals, fancy pierced hands and brass door bezel with beveled crystal; round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂVincenti & CieÂ, has an half hour strike on a bell. Marble has a crack & repair in the base below the clock tower, missing pendulum. 16 in. high x 23 in. wide x 7.5 in. deep.
