This clock is not made with Lapis Lazuli. The sides of the case are faux lapis, painted onto brass plates.

Swiss Le Coultre Le Coultre Travel Alarm Clock, Circa 1950, 2″ silvered & gilt dial, 8-day, brass spring driven movement, as found collectible Le Coultre travel alarm clock, painted brass case with some paint flaking, well worn condition. Height 3 1/2″.

Boston Clock Co. Bronze Dore & Lapis Clock: the time with half hour bell striking movement has a balance wheel and tamden winder. The balance wheel is visible through the cutout on the 5″ dial. The dial has individual porcelain Roman numerals and is marked A. Stowell & Co. The movement is signed and numbered 3533 over the letter S, it is also marked Pat.D Dec. 28, 1880. The case is topped with a classical figure and has lyre shapes on the side. The case was more than likely made in France. It has an excellent appearance.
