Large Marble & Bronze Cartel Clock. The clock has a pendent form hanging from a bronze ribbon tied in a bow at the top with floral and leaf embellishments and scrolling leaf skirt having a pineapple finial. The clock is contained in a large round gray marble case, has a brass bezel with convex door glass, 8.5 in. porcelain dial with blue Roman hour numerals on the chapter ring, black Arabic 5 minute markers outside and fancy gold scrolling pierced hands; dial is signed Luppens, Bruxelles. Square French brass movement has pin pallet escapement, strikes on a coiled gong and is signed Vincenti & Co. 34 in. high
