Mahogany case having floral rosettes over a shaped case door flanked by reeded quarter columns, raised on French flared feet. 96in tall x 19-1/2in wide x 11in deep. 13in waist. A mahogany inlay fine Federal tall case clock dating to circa 1790- 1820.With a large tympanum having scrolls rising to inlay rosettes aside a brass eagle finial. A fine mahogany and inlay Federal tall case clock with an eight day bell strike clockworks. Probably New York or New Jersey, ca 1790-1810. Height is 91″.

The scrolled pediment above a silvered dial indicating six tunes, the case door and base with figured maple banding, raised on splayed bracket feet. Height 7 feet 7 1/4 inches, width 20 1/2 inches, depth 11 inches.

Federal Tall Clock in a Roxbury Style Case. Lg. painted iron dial has a 13 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals, sub seconds dial, fancy pierced black hands, floral corner spandrels and moon phase dial, dial back is signed Walker & Finnemore (Birmingham, early 19th century); brass weight driven movement has iron weights with brass pulleys, brass covered pendulum bob hanging from a steel rod (suspension spring broken) and has an hour drop hammer strike on an iron bell. In a mahogany case with pierced crest, spun brass finials, fluted turned columns on the bonnet, fluted quarter columns with brass capitols on the corners of the body with inlaid panels and borders on the door and base. Refinished, base has some looseness and a vertical split in the front panel, repair to crest. 98 in. high x 20 in. wide x 9.5 in. deep.

Federal mahogany tall case clock with a 12 in. painted metal dial, black Arabic hour numerals, 5 minute numbers, sub seconds dial, aperture cutout below exposing the calendar disc, painted and gilt enameled corner spandrels with moon phase dial having landscape and seascape scenes. The brass eight-day, weight-driven movement has an anchor escapement, hour strike on a bell, brass pulleys, iron weights and a brass covered pendulum bob with a steel stick. The case is executed in fancy burl grained mahogany with broken arched crest and brass finial, turned corner columns, raised door panel and raised lower panel. In good overall condition with an enhanced alligatored original finish. 97.5 in. high x 20 in. wide x 11 in. deep.
