Jerome Gilbert Grant & Co. Clock. 7.5 in. brass dial has an open center exposing the escapement, black roman hour numerals, period original hands (minute hand repaired); weight driven brass movement, count wheel strike mechanism, coiled gong, iron weights and brass covered pendulum bob. In a mahogany case with rounded sides and a cornice top, reverse painted glass around the dial with floral spandrels on a green background, lower tablet with Merchants Exchange, Philadelphia (replaced with photo behind glass). Paper label tacked in back of case for Jerome, Gilbert, Grant & Co, Bristol Conn. 22 in. high x 15 in. wide.
