Japy Freres & Co Spelter Clock on a Marble Base. Spelter in the form of a Romanesque Soldier thinking with a globe and books beside him. Signed “Francois Moreav”. Has a 3″ porcelain dial marked with a non legible name and time and strike movement marked “J.S. Paris 73420”.
(There is no pendulum and the brass ring on the inside of back door is split.)

Circa 1900 French Japy Freres 8 Day Mantel Clock with 4″ Good original unsigned marble dial, Circular spring driven brass movement with bell strike, French statue clock depicting Shakespeare. Fair condition with minor flaws, base cracks front left and right corner and sword loose, lacks feet. Needs cleaning. 16″H x 20.5″W x 5.5″D
