J. C. Brown Ripple Front Steeple clock

A mid 19th century J. C. Brown, Forestville, Conn., Ripple front, Steeple clock. 30-hr Brass, spring driven time & strike movement with painted metal dial. Mahogany case with applied Ripple moldings, and a single conforming door with reverse painted lower glass. Older finish with some wear, replaced dial, running when cataloged. 16″ high.
