Ithaca Calendar Clock Company no. 8 shelf library clock has a glass top dial with Roman hour numerals and a glass bottom dial with Arabic hour numerals, both having nickel bezels. The calendar has day and month drums with silver lettering that are displayed through filigree decoration on the dial. Thirty-day time only spring powered movement is marked, "Manufactured for the Ithaca Calendar Clock Company." In a walnut case with raised burl walnut panels and ebonized trim. The case retains the original finish which has been cleaned and polished; the top dial may have been repainted or is a replacement. 26 in. high x 12 1/4 in. wide x 4 3/4 in. deep.

Ithaca No. 8 Shelf Library Double Dial Clock. 6 in. time dial has a replaced paper dial, has proper pierced black hands; brass spring driven movement made by E.N. Welch for Ithaca Calendar Clock Co. has a count wheel strike mechanism with a coiled gong. Lower 8 in. painted metal calendar dial with 31 date chapter ring, open apertures for the day and month cylinders and cutout exposing the pendulum bob, signed ÂManufactured by the Ithaca Calendar Clock Co. Ithaca, NY. Good calendar mechanism with original labels, in good working condition. Walnut case with pierced carved crest and raised paneled embellishments, one panel missing. Original finish. 26.5 in. high x 12 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
