Lg. E. Howard & Co. No. 70 Wall Regulator. Large E. Howard & Co. No. 70 Wall Regulator. Original 16 in. painted metal dial signed ÂE. Howard & Co., BostonÂ, has large blued spade hands and black Roman hour numerals; brass weight driven time only movement No. 5 signed ÂE. Howard & Co., Boston with silvered plates, has a long ebonized wood pendulum stick with a brass covered bob, brass lockdown hardware in the wood weight baffle (replaced) and good iron No. 11 weight with brass pulley. In an oak case with hinged wood door bezel and original reverse painted lower tablet having red & black paint with gold leaf highlights and open aperture exposing the pendulum bob. In very good condition, case has an enhanced original finish with no breaks or repairs, original glass in good condition with no touchup or inpainting. 42 in. high x 20.5 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.

Howard & Co. Boston  70; black painted iron No. 70 weight, brass pulley, brass pendulum bob with wood stick, weight baffle and lock-down hardware. Oak case with original reverse painted lower tablet. E. Howard Wall Regulator. 12 in painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals, black spade hands and dial signed E. Howard & Co. Boston. Signed E. Howard & Co. Boston No. 70 brass weight driven time only movement, has an incorrect weight, weight baffle, pendulum stick, pulley and missing lockdown hardware. In a walnut case with round top and long drop with reverse painted throat glass with red background, black border and gilt leaf boarders. Dial has some inpainting, extra holes behind the dial, the sphere at the end of the door latch is missing and case is refinished. 32.5 in. high x 14.5 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.
