Hopkins & Alfred Wood Works Shelf Clock: weight driven, bell strike, 10″ wood dial. Good interior label. In a mahogany and veneer case with paw feet, stenciled columns and splat. Weights, pendulum and key are with it. The label states this clock was sold by Thomas Moses of Wolcottville, Conn.
(No glass, no hands. The door has some veneer loss and needs some repair. The wood finish and paint are original and showing wear. One foot is chipped, some dial paint is missing; needs new wood inside to support the dial. Not running.)

Description: Antique Hopkins & Alfred Split Column Wood Works Clock: T&S with a painted wood dial, an eagle and shield painted lower glass door and in a veneered case with carved eagle splat and 4 split columns. The clock has the weights, a pendulum and a good interior label. Not tested.

Hopkins & Alfred Stenciled Shelf Clock: wood weight driven movement with bell strike. There is a good interior label inside the mahogany and veneer case with claw feet, stenciled columns and splat. The upper glass is original. Original 9 3/4″ wood dial. The wood finish is also original.
(The lower glass is a replacement, with a floral print applied to the inside. Running, but the strike hammer does not contact the bell. One top cap is missing from the top right side of the case. The bone ivory key slot is partly chipped away.)

Mahogany case with shaped crown and stenciled decoration on crest and columns, single door with clear upper and reverse painted lower glasses, flanked by applied half columns on carved paw feet. Older finish in fair condition, wear to glass decoration, minor veneer chips. 29″ high.

(The case’s columns have been repainted and with lost veneer. The mirror is spotty and looks like an old replacement. There are no weights.)
