Signed H. Picard Figural Bronze Mantle Clock. Gilt bronze case has winged putti seated on the corbels of the side of the case with clock tower in the center having floral filigree and finials on the arched top, oval porcelain portrait plaque on the crest, inset painted porcelain panel below the dial with musical putti, floral, filigree & porcelain panels in the base and curved side panels; case is signed on the back ÂH. Picard & numbered 2176. 3.5 in. porcelain dial has black painted Roman hour numerals and pierced trefoil hands; typical round brass spring driven 8 day movement has an half hour strike on a single bell. Both putti figures are missing the hammers which strike the musical triangles and one figure is also missing its instrument. 20 in. high x 20 in. wide x 5 in. deep.

Large bronze figure of a woman, Pandora, seated on a plinth with lionÂs head on the side, she wears a loose dress and an open box lays beside her; on a dark brown polished marble base with bronze mounts and feet, unsigned. 5.5 in. black marble dial with gilt incised Roman hour numerals, gilt brass center and brass hands; large round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂS. Marti & CieÂ, has an half hour strike on a bell, in running condition, has key and pendulum, case is in excellent condition, missing rear door. 25.5 in. high x 18 in. wide x 9 in. deep. French Figural Marble & Bronze Mantle Clock. Gilt bronze seated figure of a philosopher with a pen and a basket of paper scrolls, black marble clock tower with arched top, black marble base with green marble inset panels on the front and sides with gilt bronze mounts and trim. 4 in. porcelain dial with open moon hands; round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂJapy Freres & ÂRollin a ParisÂ, has a half hour strike on a bell. Black marble has a few breaks and repairs, front feet are broken off but we do have them, no hairlines in the dial. 17 in. high x 21.5 in. wide x 7.5 in. deep.

French Figural Bronze Mantle Clock. 4 in. bronze dial with black painted Roman hour numerals and open moon hands, decorated around the chapter ring and in the center with a grapevine pattern, the dial is shown hanging in a long drapery being carried by a flying winged putti figure, raised up on a long column; the base is decorated with a winged cupid figure lounging by the waterside with a cluster of grapes in one hand and goblet in the other, a pair of doves are perched on a stone wall beside him. Has a typical round brass spring driven movement with half hour count wheel strike mechanism on a bell; movement signed ÂChappe, A ParisÂ. The long bronze gridiron pendulum has a large relief decorated bronze bob with maidens head having long flowing hair entwined with grape clusters and grapevine decorated wreath outside. Minute hand is broken at the end. 21 in. high x 10 in. wide x 5 in. deep.

Bronze case has a theatrical theme with William Shakespeare bust at the top, pr. of figural putti laying down reading a book by torch light, figural pilaster busts on either side with maiden holding a theater mask, books and instruments beside her and lady Macbeth figure to the left holding up a dagger with books, weapons and armor beside her, beveled door crystal with beaded bezel. 4 in. bronze dial with applied brass Roman hour numerals, brass spade hands and relief filigree decorated center; round brass spring driven movement signed Jas. K. Kerr & BroÂs, has an half hour strike on bell. Case has an excellent dark brown patina, movement is in running condition with a broken suspension spring, no breaks, repairs or losses to the case which has exceptional detail. 20.25 in. high x 11.75 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

French Bronze Figural Mantle Clock. Dore bronze figure of a man playing a lyre and seated on a boulder, on the other side of the boulder stands a woman playing castanets. 3 in. brass dial signed ÂA. Dorant, St. Jean dÂAngleyÂ, round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed S. Marti, has an half hour bell strike. Clock is missing bell and pendulum, female figure is missing her castanets, front door bezel missing its crystal; movement is in very nice overall condition, running and striking. 20 in. high x 14 in. wide x 5.25 in. deep.
