Brass Grand Sonnerie Repeater Carriage Clock. 2.25″ porcelain dial has black Roman hour numerals, blued open moon hands and sub alarm dial; brass 8 day spring driven movement with platform lever escapement has a quarter hour grand sonnerie strike with repeater on 2 coiled gongs and sub alarm mechanism. In a polished gilt brass case with hinged handle and beveled glass on the front, sides, rear door and top, viewing the escapement. Good overall condition, running, striking, repeating and alarm functions, unsigned. 6″ high x 3.75″ wide x 3.25″ deep. Weight: 4.75 lbs.
