Circa 1860 English Unsigned 8 Day Wall Clock with 11″ Repainted steel dial signed Baker/Bilston, Double fusee brass bell striking movement, Ornate drop dial rosewood case has mother of pearl inlay, carved grape side frets and interesting ripple molding framed window to view pendulum. A late 18th/early 19th century British George III Period drop dial wall clock. 8-day time only fusee movement with a convex painted metal dial (faintly stamped "Wilson, Birmingham" on iron false plate) and Roman numerals. Figured Mahogany case with circular molded top, cast brass bezel and convex glass, carved fan shaped ears and a rounded drop with hinged access door. Recently restored finish, crazing to dial, running when cataloged. 22 1/2" high. ESTIMATE $800-1,200
