American W.L.Gilbert, Rochester, New Hampshire Galusha Maranville Rosewood Calendar Wall Clock, Circa 1861, 12″ original painted dial, 8-day, brass weight driven calendar movement, rare weight driven rosewood calendar clock with fancy ebonized carvings, beautiful eglomise panel in lower door, this model is extremely rare and collectible, excellent restored carving & glass, very good working condition. Height 37 1/2″.

Gilbert Rosewood OG Clock. 5 in. painted metal dial with colorful filigree spandrels, black Roman hour numerals and blued open moon hands; brass 8 day spring driven movement has a count wheel hour strike mechanism on a coiled gong and a brass covered pendulum bob. In a rosewood OG style case in good general condition, enhanced original finish with very minor veneer loss; lower reverse painted tablet with silvered lion & stallion shield and filigree design on a gold background, tablet has some paint loss. Movement is not running and strike mechanism does no hold power when wound. 18.25 in. high x 11.5 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

Rosewood Gilbert Regulator No. 2. 12″ painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals, sub seconds and black painted open moon hands; brass 8 day weight driven time only movement has a Graham deadbeat escapement and retaining power, wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob and solid brass pulley with original iron weight. Long drop-octagon style rosewood case with brass upper door and original gold and black reverse painted lower door; signed “Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co.” paper label on the weigh baffle. Case has a cleaned an enhanced original finish, old weight damage repair in the base, lower glass with black and gold border overpainting, repainted dial with extra holes, running. 33.5″ high x 16″ wide x 5.5″ deep. Weight: 23 lbs.
