Gilbert Old Mr. Boston Advertising Clock. Large pressed steel case resembling a flask bottle with repousse border & lettering which reads on the front and reverse ÂOld Mr. Boston, Fine Liquors and on the reverse with a portrait of a man; the cap of the bottle is decorated with a portrait of a man and view of BostonÂs Capitol Hill. 6 in. metal dial with pressed hour numbers, signed Gilbert, 1807, 8 DayÂ, with a brass 30 hour time only spring driven movement. Clock is in good condition with original paint, some wear to the black highlights, movement is not running. 21.5 in. high.
