A late 19th century Gilbert “Mitra” model shelf clock. 8-day spring driven time and strike movement. Cherry case with shaped crown, single door and split pilasters with original door glasses. Paper label approx 90%. intact. Refinished with some wear. 22″ high.

Gilbert Mitra 8 Day Mantle Clock: time with half hour gong striking movement and 7″ dial. The ash case has darkened highlights. There is a partial, but legible label on the back.
(The dial is worn and dirty. The wood finish is original and shows wear.)
