In a carved oak case with glass sides, carved crest with spherical turnings, fish scale carved frieze, carved door and carved lower gallery with arched corbeled supports. Gilbert No. 9 Oak Wall Hanging Regulator. 12 porcelain dial with black roman numerals, sweep second hand, open moon minute & hour hands, brass bezel; brass 8 day No. 9 movement, dead beat escapement, retaining power, quality brass weight, pulley & bob with wood stick, movement mounted on an iron bracket which is signed ÂW.L.G.C. Co.Â. In an oak case in with high carved crest and spindled gallery, inset burled backboard and carved lower bracket; refinished, missing top finials, dial has a few chips behind the bezel. 78 in. high x 22.5 in. wide x 8.5 in. deep.
