Gilbert # 2 Regulator Clock, 8 day time only weight driven, 12″ dial. Circa 1870’s. (Case has been refinished and the seconds dial wind directions indicator added, lower glass has been replaced and the pendulum bob has a small dent. The weight boarder cover has been replaced and matched with finish.)

Oak Gilbert No. 22 Hanging Regulator. 12 in. silvered metal dial signed ÂMade in United States of America by Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted, ConnÂ, has black incised Roman hour numerals, fancy filigree engraved center, open moon hands and brass bezel; brass 8 day weight driven time only movement with deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, solid brass pulley, brass covered weight and wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob. In a carved oak wall hanging case having a shell and filigree carved crest, beaded door trim with filigree and carved lower bracket with filigree and corbel support. Nice condition with a medium dark brown alligatored original finish, door glass is replaced, silvering is worn off of the dial. 88.75 in. high x 22.5 in. wide x 9.5 in. deep.

Gilbert No. 16 Floor Standing Regulator. 12 in. porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals, open moon hands, sweep seconds hand, & brass bezel; brass 8 day weight driven time only movement, deadbeat escapement, retaining power, brass weight & pulley and quality 3 jar cut glass mercurial compensating pendulum. In a carved oak floor standing case with arched crest and turned finals protruding from spherical clusters on the sides and a carved maidens head, the sides of the case have long carved corbels at the top and bottom, on a carved base with burled and incised panel in the front. Good condition, top finial missing, case is refinished. 106 in. high x 34 in. wide x 13.5 in. deep.

A turn of the century Gilbert Regulator Model 14 wall clock. 8-day weight driven time only movement with seconds bit. Oak case with beaded crown, single long door and carved detail on base. Older finish with minor wear. lacks gallery, replaced paper dial, replaced weight. 44″ high.
