A 19th century George Mitchell shelf clock. 30-hour weight driven wooden time and strike movement with painted wooden dial with Roman numerals. Mahogany case with a scrolled crest and Brass finials over a door with clear dial glass, reverse painted center and lower flanked by flat reeded pilasters with carved capitols, on a flat base. Paper label 80% intact. Older refinishing with minor wear, minor dial wear, cracked lower glass, running when cataloged. 37 3/4" high. ESTIMATE $400-600

Splat features stenciled fruit bowl. Claw feet, hand painted clock dial with Roman numerials, open diamond hands, reverse painted tablt, and beautiful label. Wooden works, weight driven clock with pendulumn. Measures approx. 29″ tall x 16″wide x 4″ deep.
