George Mitchell Shelf Clock, Bristol, Connecticut, c. 1830, “Manufactured by Atkins & Downs for George Mitchell, Bristol, CT”. Mahogany case with stenciled splat and colomns. Splat features stenciled fruit bowl. Claw feet, hand painted clock dial with Roman numerials, open diamond hands, reverse painted tablt, and beautiful label. Wooden works, weight driven clock with pendulumn. Measures approx. 29″ tall x 16″wide x 4″ deep.
