Good quality Brass 8-day time and strike movement with Cuckoo and Gong strike, wooden dial with applied Roman numerals. Walnut case with Grape leaf crest and dial surround, and lower Grape arbor design on a molded base. Older dark finish older repairs, replaced pendulum, running when cataloged. 20 1/4" high. A late 19th century German shelf clock with Cuckoo. 30-hour time and alarm movement with balance wheel escapement, painted porcelain dial with Roman numerals, cuckoo counts the hours. Oak case with applied Brass decoration, features an upper battlement which houses the cuckoo with turned finials over the dial flanked by pairs of turned pilasters on a shaped molded base. Old finish with minor wear, loss to tip of top finial, running and functioning when cataloged. 14 1/4" high. ESTIMATE $300-400
