Bronze Gothic Cathedral Silk Thread Mantle Clock. 3.25″ pierced decorated brass dial with black painted Roman hour numerals and pierced decorated hands; round brass 8 day spring driven movement signed “Pons”, has a silk thread suspension and half hour strike on a bell. In a gilt bronze architectural case in the form of a cathedral with bell tower, stall spires, filigree design and relief decorated king and queen figures around the columns. Movement is running and striking, has pendulum, amber glass panel added on the back of the case behind the pendulum bob, has some tarnish to the gilt finish. 17.75″ high x 7″ wide x 4.75″ deep.
