Circa 1900 French Japy Freres 8 Day Mantel Clock with 5″ Excellent original unsigned gilt brass convex dial, Original spring driven brass gong-strike pendulum movement, Ivory white case with gilt decorations. Good condition and rear foot on right side is cracked. Needs cleaning. 13″H x 8″W x 5″D

French Japy Frères Scenic Mantel Clock: With a T&S movement marked “Japy Frères” and numbered “15639”; a porcelain dial with bubble Roman Numerals and a blue and gold butterfly center. In a metal case with 4-toe pawed feet; a scroll and laurel garland and a painted porcelain scenic panel with a country stream on it.
(The clock is not running or chiming at this time. The hammer wants to strike but it is in the wrong position to do so. There is no pendulum or key with the clock.)
