French Figural Silk Thread Mantle Clock. 2 tone dore and brown patina bronze clock case has a figural woman seated on top, she is wearing a fancy dress, petting a dog with her right hand and holds a book & handkerchief in her left hand, she sits on a boulder-like mound with floral mounts. 3.5 in. silvered bronze dial has black incised Roman hour numerals, bronze bezel and blued open moon hands; typical round brass spring driven silk thread movement has a half hour strike on a brass bell. 15 in. high x 12 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

A. Duminil French Bronze Silk Thread Clock. 3 in. porcelain dial has black Roman hour numerals & pierced black hands, signed by the retailer Henard A. Paris. Typical round French brass 8 day spring driven silk thread movement signed A. Duminil, half hour strike on a silvered bell. Quality 2 tone gilt and patinated bronze case has a figure of a musician on one side and a standing tree to the left side, central dore bronze clock tower resembles a bookshelf with a music stand finial; the base has a brown patina with mounted dore bronze instruments, leafy trim and round feet. In very good condition. 15 in. high x 10.5 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

Typical round French brass spring driven silk thread movement with half hour strike on a silvered bell.
