Japy Freres Lady & Cherub Figural Stem Clock: the signed movement with balance wheel strikes the hour and half hour on a gong. The silver colored dial with impressed features is 4 1/2″ wide. The movement is cased in leaf molded majolica with gold painted metal top figures, sides and stem formed as a partially nude woman with grapes. The bottom has a small marble insert; running and striking at this time. Nice looking, with a key.
(Repainted, the paint hides any repair that may be there.)
