French Industrial Figural Swinger Clock. Large standing industrial figure of a French blacksmith standing beside an anvil, he holds a hammer in one hand and the other hand holds up the clock pendulum; the white metal figure has a nice brown finish and is signed Ch. (Charles) Ruchot. The gridiron pendulum is 27.5 in. long, the spring driven 8 day movement is contained within the silvered tub top of the pendulum behind the 4 in. porcelain dial; movement signed with Guilmet (GLT) mark and numbered 9361. In good condition with no breaks or repairs, 37 in. high.

French Industrial Vertical Boiler Clock. The vertical cylindrical boiler has a polished brass finish with silvered embellishments and copper piping, governor at the top and stands on a black marble base. 2 silvered dials, 2.25 in. each, one at the top for an aneroid barometer and one in the door below contains the French brass time only movement with cylinder escapement. Clock is in good working condition, thermometer escutcheon on the left side is missing its tube. 13 in. high x 6 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

The vertical cylindrical boiler has an original silvered finish with brass embellishments and copper piping, spinning governor at the top runs on a separate movement contained within and stands on a black marble base. 2 silvered dials, 2.25 in. each, one at the top for an aneroid barometer and one in the door below contains the French brass time only clock movement with cylinder escapement. Beautiful desk clock in the form of a large bell; silvered bronze bell with studded oak yoke and gilt bronze frame; on a rouge marble base, bell is engraved Âvae mihi si non evangelisavero (Woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel). Centered in the front of the bell is a 3 in. silvered dial with black Roman hour numerals; typical round French brass spring driven movement signed ÂJapy Freres & CieÂ, lever platform escapement is running and has an half hour strike on a gong. 15 in. high x 11.25 in. wide x 8.25 in. deep. Silvered bronze case in the form of a diverÂs helmet with 2 in. silvered time dial on the front having incised Roman hour numerals, 2 in silvered dial on the left and right for thermometer and aneroid barometer and 1.5 in. silvered compass dial on top; each has beveled crystals and gilt bronze bezels, stands on a rouge marble base. Timepiece has a small round brass spring driven movement with cylinder escapement, stem wind and stem set, in very nice running condition. 8 in. high x 6.25 in. wide x 6.25 in. deep. 3 Pcs. French Industrial Steam Hammer Clock. The large bronze case has gilt brass trimmings with a piston cylinder on top and a lever leading over to a platform on the left side, between the legs of the frame is a silvered anvil and hammer which rocks up and down forming the visible portion of the complex pendulum. Has a round French brass movement signed GLT Paris (Guilmet), also signed Japy Freres and numbered 506; movement has a steel pin pallet escapement and strikes on a steel bell. In very good condition, has bronze operator figure standing on the platform to the left, silvered dial has a nice patina, minor repair to the joint of one of the valves at the top. 18 in. high x 12 in. wide x 6 in. deep. Accompanied by a matching pair of 2 arm candleholders with similar shaped cases simulating a roller press. In good condition, 10.5 in. high. Weight: 28.75 lbs.

Guilmet Beam Engine French Industrial Clock. This time only spring driven timepiece is wound from the back, the movement is marked “Medaille Dor – G L T – Paris” and numbered 241. It has a 2 in. porcelain dial signed G. Cornell, Paris. The bronze case with silvered and gilt finish on a black marble base, has a balance beam crossbar in the top, rocking on a crossed suspension with faux piston balance weights on the sides. In good condition with no breaks or repairs, movement is wound tight and needs to be balanced, but should run. 7 in. high x 8 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
