DESCRIPTION: Hand-made ormolu miniature desk clock featuring a movement upheld by two garlanded columns. Clock face is framed by a blue guilloche border embellished with gilt rose motifs; movement parts are visible through a transparent pane on the reverse side. Finished with a finial for winding the clock. Marked on underside with an arrow-pierced heart and the word "DEPOSE".

Guilloche Enamel Desk Clock. 0.75 in. Porcelain dial has black Arabic hour numerals, gold minute markers, black spade hands, white and amber enamel bezel and gilt bronze case with eagle finial, repaired at the base of the eagle; the oval platform base has a brass, amber and white enamel border and an oval amber guilloche center. Has a 15 jewel watch movement with lever escapement and stem wind and lever set; movement is wound tight, sets properly, balance does not swing freely. Movement is signed United States Watch Co. – Waltham Mass. USA – 732280 – A New Watch Company at Waltham, Est. 1885. Clock is 2.25 in. high x 3 in. wide x 2 in. deep.

A late 18th Century French ormolu mantel clock with centre seconds and concentric date
Bouchet
Surmounted by an urn finial over foliage and berried swags on a reeded column to a stepped base and shaped plinth on adjustable turned feet, the signed five inch white enamel dial with black Roman and Arabic numerals framing the red Arabic date ring, with finely pierced and engraved gilt hands for the time, a serpentine hand for the date, and a tapering centre seconds hand, the large circular movement with deadbeat 'scape wheel cocked on the backplate, with pierced outside countwheel strike on a bell. Running and striking, with pendulum and a winding key. 44cms (17ins) high.

DESCRIPTION: Antique Austrian guilloche enamel annular clock with egg form. Features finely enameled cartouches of young beauties on a blue guilloche enamel, the two sections divided by two silvered annular chapter rings within gilt bronze mounts raised on a bell shaped enameled stand with octagonal onyx plinth. Stamped "Made in Austria" at underside.
