French Bronze Wall Hanging Cartel Clock. 3.5 in. porcelain dial has blue Roman hour numerals, black 5 minute numbers outside, fancy gilt pierced hands and brass door bezel with convex glass; round French brass spring driven movement with silk thread suspension, count wheel half hour strike mechanism on a steel bell and signed Raingo Freres, Paris. In a gilt bronze case with fancy pierced filigree design, in good overall condition; dial has some damage around the edges. 18 in. high x 11 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
Description: Antique French Brass Cartel Clock: T&S with a black dial and porcelain cartouche numerals. In a large brass case with ribbons, cherubs and lady head. The door has beveled glass in it. The No. 6230 is on the back and No. 72 on the movement. The pendulum is with the clock. (There is a crack in the dial between the 6 & 7). 40″ Tall. Has not been tested. Sells as is, where is.
