French Figural Mantle Clock. Cast metal mantle clock case has a gilt finish with a figure of a merchant leaning against the timepiece with a chest at his feet, pierced filigree back and swirling filigree decorated base having inset painted porcelain panels, case is stamped ÂA. AdamÂ. 3.25 in. porcelain dial has black Roman hour numerals, blued pierced hands and is signed ÂHry. Marc, A ParisÂ; typical, round, French brass, spring driven movement is signed Japy Freres, and strikes on a steel bell. Dial has a few hairlines and chips around the arbor holes. 11 in. high x 13.5 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

Gilt bronze seated figure of a philosopher with a pen and a basket of paper scrolls, black marble clock tower with arched top, black marble base with green marble inset panels on the front and sides with gilt bronze mounts and trim. 4 in. porcelain dial with open moon hands; round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂJapy Freres & ÂRollin a ParisÂ, has a half hour strike on a bell. Black marble has a few breaks and repairs, front feet are broken off but we do have them, no hairlines in the dial. 17 in. high x 21.5 in. wide x 7.5 in. deep.

Beautiful 3 in. porcelain dial with black hour numerals and floral decorated center, has beveled door crystal; typical round brass 8 day spring driven movement, unsigned, has a half hour strike on a bell, key and pendulum, nice overall condition, dial has a hairline between 2 – 4 and at 7.
