A large 19th century French Figural clock by L. Marti. 8-day time and strike movement with Roman numerals on a Black Slate dial. Black Slate case with Gilded spelter mounts and figures of Venus and Adonis with a young Cupid between them. Some wear and minor damage to the slate end mounts, some touch-up to the figures, running when cataloged. 32″ high overall.

3 Pc. French Figural Clock Set. Green onyx base with fancy feet and mounts; white metal figural top after Aug. Moreau titled – Le Char de Jeunesse  The Chariot of Youth, depicts a woman standing in a chariot with cupid. Has a 3 in. porcelain dial with Arabic hour numbers, painted roses, signed Luppens & Co. and has pierced trefoil hands, fancy brass bezel with beveled glass. Typical round French brass L. Marti movement signed H. Luppens, Paris; strikes on a bell. Complete with matching candelabras having an urn shape with onyx base and 5 candle holders on top. In very good condition. 30 in. high
