French Mahogany Bracket Clock. 5 in. engraved brass dial with black insides Roman hour numerals and minute numbers outside; square brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂS. Marti et CieÂ, has half hour strike on a coiled gong, in running condition, has pendulum. In a mahogany case with spiral turned corner columns, faux bell top with figural Frenchman finial, gilt brass corner finials, mounts and feet. In nice overall condition, repair at the top hinge of the door. 23.75 in. high x 10.5 in. wide x 7 n. deep. Weight: 11 lbs.

Circa 1875 French Unsigned 8 Day Mantel Clock with 5″ Original fancy silvered brass dial, Spring driven square gong striking brass movement, An unusual well detailed bracket clock with high quality chased pierce work and cast silvered brass fittings. Well appointed ebonized case. Fair condition, lacking a few small pieces of molding, silvered surfaces very dark, movement needs repair. Overall in need of a good cleaning. French Boulle & Brass Inlaid Bracket Clock. 7.25 in. dia. gilt bronze dial with black incised Roman hour numerals, incised minute numbers, gilt pierced hands, relief center panel with profile portrait of Louis XV and gilt bronze mounts on the velvet back panel signed ÂCoquerel, ParisÂ. Square brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂG.V. – 555Â has a Brocot escapement, quarter hour strike on 2 coiled gongs and is in running condition. In a wonderful case with fancy brass filigree inlaid into tortoise shell and bronze mounts, Eight fleur de lis finials and figural horses laying down supporting the case on the base. In very nice condition with a lacquered finish. 28.5 in. high x 19 in. wide x 10 in. deep. Weight: 33.75 lbs.
