A late 19th century French double statue swinger clock. 8-day time only movement within a painted spherical body with Roman numerals with compensating pendulum and Brass mounts. Spelter Allegorical figures of "Spring & Summer" with two color patina on a Rouge Marble base with Gilded Spelter feet. Some wear and touch-ups to finish, running when cataloged. 24 1/2" high. Large French Double Statue Clock on a Red Marble Base: the spelter figures support the clock and are signed A. Carrier on the base. The time and bell striking movement is marked Japy Freres, 385 and Y.N. Thomas. The 4″ ring dial is marble with gold numerals and fancy, engraved visible escapement.
27 1/2″ tall
(Running, although there is a catch in the time spring. The finish is slightly worn and partially touched up.)

French Marti Marble Double Statue Clock: With a T&S movement signed and numbered 4604; an unmarked porcelain dial and the pendulum. The statue is marked “AnPriq” or “An Pig” and stands on a red marble base.

French Double Figural Swinger Clock. 2 Standing cast metal maiden figures wear long robed garments, one holds a bunch of wheat in her hand and the other holds a bunch of cat tails, standing side by side and facing slightly inward, they each hold up a branching arm between which meats at the post on which the pendulum swings. The gridiron pendulum is 19 in. long, the spring driven 8 day movement is contained within the silvered tub at the top of the pendulum behind the 3.25 in. porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals on the chapter ring, Arabic 5 minute markers outside and blued spade hands; movement signed with Guilmet (GLT) mark and numbered 5183. In good condition with a deep brown finish on the base. 23.5 in. high x 16 in. wide x 7 in. deep.
