circa 1900, marked by the venerable luxury firm Shreve, Crump & Low Co., Boston; time and strike brass movement, the gilt brass case with enamel and rhinestone decoration, the pendulum has a rhinestone border around a hand-painted miniature portrait of an 17th century lady that is artist-signed "J. REMY" lower right.

French Brass & Cut Glass Crystal Regulator. 4 in. porcelain dial with black hour numbers and painted hanging garland design inside, fancy pierced gilt hands and gilt brass bezel; typical round brass French spring driven movement with half hour strike on a coiled gong, 2 jar mercurial pendulum and signed A.D. Mougin. In a brass case with fancy finials, rosettes & mounts, feet and capitols at the top and bottom of the cut glass side columns, has beveled glass on the front & rear doors and also the sides; case is signed M. Corpet, France. In excellent condition with no breaks or losses to the glass and a nice overall gilt finish. 15 in. high x 10.5 in. wide x 5 in. deep.

Surfin. over ÂD. Potonie & Co., Paris, 8113Â, has a Borcot escapement, half hour count wheel strike on a bell and quality gridiron pendulum with porcelain insert in the bob. Brass case has a drum shaped top with engraved top cylinder, gothic side crests, brass trim around beveled glass, engraved brass base plate and white marble base. In very good condition, no breaks or repairs, original glass & marble base are in good condition. 17 in. high x 9.25 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.
