French eight day time and strike pendulum, silk cord suspension bracket clock with matching bracket. It is enclosed in an ebonized wood case, decorated with brass and mother-of-pearl inlaid leaf and floral meander marquetry. It has a white porcelain dial with black Roman numerals. 14 1/2″ high. 10″ wide. 4.5″ deep. (bracket: 6″ high), 10″ wide. Signed: Savoinel, Pair (on dial). Circa middle to late 19th century. 1983 Appraisal $1,050. Note: All of the 8-day clocks were professionally restored and/or repaired, and then carefully stored by the consignor. 19th Century French Boulle Bracket Clock with time and strike movement. The dial centered by bronze symbols in relief with enamel Roman numerals. Condition: some brass is lifting in places and the bonnet has a old repair. Ht 28Â W. 13 D. 6Â

French Boulle & Brass Inlaid Bracket Clock. 12 in. repousee brass dial has large inset porcelain plaques with black Roman hour numerals, outer inserts with Arabic 5 minute markers, porcelain center signed J. Gudin, A Paris and pierced black hands; has a brass spring driven movement with pin pallet escapement and half hour countwheel strike on a silvered bell, movement signed A.D. Mougin. In a large case with matching hanging shelf bracket and domed top with figural finial, has deep red and black boulle with fancy brass inlays and filigree mounts; the large door has a brass frame with figural brass overlay at the bottom, original door glass and side glasses. Clock is in original finish, has some roughness, loss and pulling to the brass inlays, pendulum is a replacement. The clock is 40 in. high x 21.5 in. wide x 7 in. deep, overall height in the bracket is 58 in.
