Alabaster & Ebonized Silk Thread Portico Clock. 4.5 in. silvered dial with black Roman hour numerals and engine turned center, brass door bezel with convex and beveled door crystal; square brass 8 day spring driven silk thread movement is contained in a turned tub hanging from the top of the case, has a quarter hour strike on 2 coiled gongs. In a carved ebonized wood case with plinth column style crest, carved mother of pearl mounts, turned white alabaster columns with brass capitols and gilt pierced carved lyre shaped rear mount. In nice condition, clock is running and striking, missing pendulum, center tub is hanging loosely from the top of the case. 23.25 in. high x 15.25 in. wide x 5.25 in. deep. Weight: 11 lbs.
