Very good nineteenth century French dore bronze mantle clock circa 1870. Having a Classically inspired seated huntress with arrow in one hand and slain game in the other. Ht: 14″ Width: 9″ Depth: 4″

French Black Slate Balloon Clock, 1870: The bell striking with 1/2 hour strike movement is marked GV 30474 & 10.6 and has a porcelain dial. In a plain black slate case. There is a size 15 crank style key with the clock.
The clock is running and striking at this time.
(The porcelain dial has some chips around one key hole. There are also some surface scratches below and just left of the center of the dial. There is no back access cover.)

Exceptional and beautifully cast bronze and white marble mantle clock circa 1870. Having a brace of lions pulled chariot driven by winged putti. The platform escapement powered mechanism sits behind the “spoke wheel” clock face. This timepiece is further enhanced by a finely cast dore bronze mount to base marble. Ht: 9″ Width: 9″ Depth: 5″

Marti Slate and Bronze Figural Clock, Circa 1870: With No. 939, a bell striking movement and a porcelain dial. The highly polished bust on the top of the case is unmarked. There are metal ornaments and feet. Two of the feet are large claws. The other two are claws clutching an egg.
The clock is running and striking at this time.
(The porcelain dial has a hairline between the 3 & 4.)
