Engraved Gilt Brass Carriage Clock. 1.75″ porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals, has a brass 8 day spring driven movement with platform lever escapement and half hour countwheel strike on a coiled gong. In a fancy engraved gilt brass case with hinged handle having lion’s head mounts, turned finials, turned corner columns, beveled glass on the front, sides, rear door and oval top, viewing the escapement. Running, striking, good overall condition. 5″ high x 3.75″ wide x 3″ deep. Weight: 3.25 lbs.

French Gilt Bronze Carriage Clock. Fancy gilt brass case has figural putti on the corners with floral strands of garland stretched between them, domical top with beveled glass exposing the escapement and hinged handle, has beveled glasses on 4 sides with flowing filigree on the corners and base. Porcelain dial has a 2 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals and pierced trefoil hands; brass spring driven movement has platform lever escapement and half hour strike on a steel bell. Clock is in good overall condition, clock strikes, balance wheel does not swing. 7.5 in. high x 4 in. wide x 3.5 in. deep.

Gilt Brass Illuminated Dial Carriage Clock. 3 in. frosted glass dial is obverse painted with Roman hour numerals, gilt pierced hands and has a beveled glass set in the bezel; dial is illuminated from behind with a special fitted kerosene lamp inside of the case having a special hinged door in the top for ventilation and on the right for accessing the lamp. Brass time only spring driven movement signed ÂP.B. Seul, Brevete, S.G.D.G.TÂ with cylinder escapement in good running condition. In a gilt brass case with engraved top, front and side panels, floral and filigree design on the corners and base with hinged handle on the top. Clock is in excellent condition, clean dial, lamp & case. 7.5 in. high x 5 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

Brass dial has a 2.25 in. porcelain chapter ring with black hour numbers, black hands and presentation engraving on the front to ÂMr. & Mrs. Alexander Semple, From Their Friends in Broadbrook, Conn., March 16, 1892Â. Brass spring driven movement has a platform lever escapement in good running condition with half hour strike on a coiled gong and 5 minute repeater buttons on the top and rear of the case. Has a gilt brass case with spiral turned hinged handle at the top and spiral turned corner columns, has beveled glasses on the rear door, front, sides and the top exposing the escapement. Strike mechanism is not working. 7.5 in. high x 4 in. wide x 3.75 in. deep.
