The circular painted dial with Roman hours inscribed MAPLE & CO. LTD. / LONDON, with slow/fast adjuster above XII and chime/silent adjuster at III, the three train fusee movement with anchor escapement and locking pendulum, with a pull repeat, striking on five gongs.

In a gilt brass case with an incised decorated top and front, beveled glass on the front and sides; the rear door has a pierced back and the top glass for viewing the escapement. Movement & strike mechanism function correctly. Dimensions: 6 3/4 in. high x 3 3/4 in. wide x 3 in. deep. Weight: 4.65 lbs.
