An early 19th century English grandfather clock. 8-day time and strike movement with arched painted moonphase dial signed “Jn Dean, Macclesfield”. Mahogany case with Classic broken arch top, inlaid detail and turned footed base. Older finish with wear and minor damage. 89″ high.

A late 18th century English Grandfather clock. 8 day weight driven time and strike movement by “Jn Dobie, Tanfield”, original Brass dial with cast spandrels, engraved center and subsidiary seconds and date dials, with dual “Rocking Ships” in arch with painted detail. Oak case with dentil molded flat top, arched door and turned columns with cast finials, rectangular waist door above a simple molded base with turned feet. In running order. Case refinished with minor wear, some older repair, replaced feet. 79″ high overall.
