Early Miniature Japanese Pillar Clock with corner pillars and circular movement. The front plate is carved and engraved with a floral design. The brass numerals are engraved and there is a lower drawer for the key storage.
(Clock wants to run but will quit in less than a minute. There is a repair on one interior square shaft and on the wood back board on the upper left side.)

Early Japanese Pillar Clock with short pillars and circular movement, brass mechanism and floral engraved front plate. The hour and half hour numerals are painted onto a lacquer surface. The pointer is in the form of a dragon set with semi precious stones. The clock shows a small minute circle on top with a single hand and divided into 3 quarters marked with characters. Lower drawer is for key storage.
(Clock wants to run steadily. Painted numerals are slightly worn.)
