Circa 1860 American Chauncey Jerome 30 hour Wall Clock with 5″ Original painted dial 10 percent flaked, Original spring driven time only brass movement with lever escapement, Chauncey Jerome Iron front wall clock, with mother of pearl inlays. Fair condition with minor flaws to case stenciling, case has been refinished, needs cleaning. 14″H x 11″W x 4″D

Early Jerome 12 in. Schoolhouse Clock. 12 in. painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals, fancy blued hands and brass door bezel; brass 8 day spring driven time only movement is unsigned. In a walnut octagonal case with cross banded borders around the top, filigree carving along the sides on the chamfered short drop section and reverse painted tablet with gilt filigree design. In good general condition with an alligatored overcoated finish. Some light veneer flaking along the bottom of the case and dial. 24 in. high x 17 in. wide.

Attr: Jerome Iron Front Mantle Clock. 3.5 in. paper dial has black Roman hour numerals, door bezel has convex glass; spring driven 8 day movement has pierced Âtombstone cutouts , unsigned, countwheel hour strike mechanism on a coiled gong, has repairs to strike governor (fan). Case has a beautiful iron front painted black with gilt design and scenic castle panel in the center; original paint has minor chipping and crazing from age, wood back cover is loose, pendulum is replaced, minute hand is replaced and strike mechanism is not running properly. 17.5 in. high x 13.5 in. wide.
