Condition:
The fascinating skeleton clock is in a good age-related condition with minor signs of age and wear. In places slight surface abrasions and tiny scratches can be seen. Scattered traces of flash rust can be found. During in house testing, the timepiece was fully functional; no guarantee on long term precision and regularity. The dimensions including the glass dome measure c. 38 x 30 x 20 cm. (nlu)

Circa 1780 Austrian Unsigned 8 day Wall Clock with 7″ Convex enamel dial with repairs, Engraved brass movement with fusee time train and spring barrel quarter striking, Very early Austrian gilt picture frame wall clock with heavily engraved early movement. Good condition with conversions from verge escapement to anchor escapement, need cleaning. 20″H x 17.5″W x 6.5″D
AN ENGLISH GALLERY CLOCK WITH FUSEE MOVEMENT

An interesting gallery clock with oak case in original finish having a square top case with hand cut dovetailed joints across the top complete with old scribe marks, a small side door and a lower key locking door on the rounded bottom. The circular gallery picture frame front has two rails that fit on either side of the square back case and are joined by oak thumb pegs. The heavy brass movement is fusee chain driven, the original dial is hand painted on metal and has a central full hand painted and artist-signed (well done) scene of a Galleon sailing ship. Condition is excellent and apparently untouched unless the round oak dial frame has been cleaned. Overall size is 15 inches in diameter.
