Welch, Forestville, Conn. “Khedive” Clock, Circa 1800, 5 1/2″ enamel dial with brass bezel & open escapment, 8-day, brass spring driven movement, oak case in dark refinish, clear beveled glass door, case excellent condition, hairline crazing on dial, movement complete and in fine working order. Welch Patti No. 1 Shelf Clock. Original 4.5 in. dial with black Roman hour numerals blued pierced trefoil hands. Has an early brass 8 day spring driven Patti movement with crossed  X  in the front and back plates, count wheel strike mechanism, strikes on a steel bell mounted to the movement; has a fancy Patti pendulum with glass insert. Quality rosewood case with turned finials, rosettes and corner columns, original E.N Welch Patti label on the back, in good running condition, excellent original finish. 18.75 in. high x 12.25 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

E.N. Welch Patti V.P. Rosewood Mantle Clock. High quality rosewood case in good enhanced original finish and decorated door glass. “Patti V.P.” label on the back. The original 5 in. dial with black Roman hour numerals, blued pierced trefoil hands; early version brass 8 day spring driven movement with pierced ÂXÂ style plates, hour strike on a silvered bell and fancy Patti pendulum, with glass insert. Partial original paper Patti V.P. label on the back, center finial has a minor repair and one rosette has a small chip, very nice & working condition. 19 in. high x 12 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

E.N. Welch Khedive Oak Mantle Clock: 8 day time with half hour gong strike and a 5″ dial with visible escapement on the Patti’s movement. The case is polished oak; with glass encased pendulum.
(The time of strike is off. The dial’s interior is fractured, the ring dial has a small fracture at the 12. The case is nice looking, but has many dimples in the wood below the dial. A label on the rear access door is partial.)
