Lourdelet Egyptian Revival Mantel Clock. 4 in. black marble dial with fancy gilt incised hour characters, gilt pierced hands and brass hinged door bezel with beveled crystal; round brass 8 day spring driven movement is signed on the pendulum start lever “E. Lourdelet” and has a half hour strike on a coiled gong. In a black marble case with pointed roof, rouge highlight panels, bronze pharaoh’s head mounts and gilt incised hieroglyphic highlights. In good overall condition with 2 repairs in the lower front marble and the lower right side panel is reglued, movement is running. 14.75 in. high x 9.75 in. wide x 5.25 in. deep.
