E. Howard No. 28 Marble Front Wall Regulator. 14 in. dial has a 12.5 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals and red Arabic 5 minute markers outside, pierced black hands and dial signed E. Howard & Co. Boston. 8 day brass weight driven movement is signed E. Howard & Co. Boston, has brass pendulum bob with gilt wood stick, U-shaped lead weight and ebonized wood weight baffle. Marble front case has reverse painted throat glass with black background and gilt leaf borders and stars. Has a repair to the marble dial at 9 oÂclock. 30 in. high x 14 in. wide.

E. Howard & Co. No. 59 Wall Regulator. Original 8 in. painted metal dial signed “E. Howard & Co., Boston” has black Roman hour numerals, open moon hands and ebonized bezel; brass weight driven movement signed “E. Howard & Co. Boston” has original iron weight, turned silvered wood stick with silvered bob and brass lockdown hardware. In a walnut wall hanging case having turned and carved finials, fluted and carved pediment, turned corner columns on the door with ebonized highlights. Case is in the original finish with wear to the ebonized trim on the wood and a crack in the left side glass. Dimensions: 46 in. high x 15 1/2 in. wide x 7 1/4 in. deep. Weight: 29.10 lbs.

Howard & Co., Boston” has an ebonized wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob and solid brass pulley with No. 70 iron weight . In a walnut No. 70 wall hanging case with original reverse painted and gold leaf lower tablet. Refinished, replaced pulley, repaired weight damage at the base, minor touchup paint around dial holes; running. 32″ high x 15.5″ wide x 4.75″ deep. Weight: 21.5 lbs.

E. Howard Wall Regulator. 12 in painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals, black spade hands and dial signed E. Howard & Co. Boston. Signed E. Howard & Co. Boston No. 70 brass weight driven time only movement, has an incorrect weight, weight baffle, pendulum stick, pulley and missing lockdown hardware. In a walnut case with round top and long drop with reverse painted throat glass with red background, black border and gilt leaf boarders. Dial has some inpainting, extra holes behind the dial, the sphere at the end of the door latch is missing and case is refinished. 32.5 in. high x 14.5 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.

No. 60 Wall Regulator. 14 in. silvered dial has black incised Roman hour numerals, Arabic 5 minute markers outside, 3.5 in. sub seconds dial, original pierced diamond hands, walnut bezel and signed E. Howard & Co., Boston, Mass. quality brass weight driven time only movement. Graham deadbeat escapement with jeweled pallets, maintaining power, quality brass side weight and brass pulleys; signed E. Howard & Co. Boston, has a 4 steel jar mercurial pendulum with long steel rod, numbered 315-3426. In a carved walnut case with broken pediment crest, turned finial with filigree embellishments, raised panels, scroll carvings and shells on the corners, carving with rosettes on either side of the door and teardrop finials at the base; original door glass has reverse gilt lettering that reads  Regulator, Manufactured for, Edward P. Lyon, Bethel, Maine, By The E. Howard Watch & Clock Co., Boston, Mass. In very good condition with a fantastic medium-dark brown finish, no breaks or repairs. 80 in. high x 27 in. wide x 13 in. deep.
