E. Howard No. 7 Figure Eight Regulator. 12 in. painted metal dial has black Roman hour numerals, blued open moon hands and dial signed E. Howard & Co. Boston; brass weight driven time only movement has a recoil escapement, brass pulley, iron No. 2 weight, long gilt wood pendulum stick and brass covered bob, movement signed E. Howard, Boston. In a walnut, figure eight case with carved crests, reverse painted throat and lower glasses and black painted weight baffle. Case is refinished, glasses are repainted and the dial has inpainting and a varnished overcoat. 50 in. high x 17 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

Wood pendulum stick with gold leaf, brass covered bob and iron weight with brass pulley. Walnut figure 8 case with original reverse painted red, black and gold leaf throat & lower glasses. Throat glass is cracked, alligatored original finish. 34.25 in. high x 11 in. wide x 5 in. deep. Weight: 17.25 lbs.

Wood pendulum stick with gold leaf, original damaskeened brass bob and lock down hardware on weight baffle. Walnut figure 8 case in original finish with no noted losses, original reverse painted black and gold leaf throat & door glasses, some losses to lower glass. Inside the door has a label from E. Howard & Co. with directions for “putting up the clock”. 37 in. high.

Steel pendulum stick, brass bob and lock down hardware on black painted weight baffle with black painted iron weight. Figure 8 walnut case in original finish with no noted losses, reverse painted red, black and gold leaf throat & door glasses. Has original plaque to the purchaser signed by Dana Blackwell June 2, 1976; 33.5 in. high
